Sessions NY was started by two women who’ve got a seriously good vibe with an unapologetically human approach to mental health. Sessions NY is a boutique private therapy practice that is dedicated to providing relational and client-centered mental health services such as individual therapy, couples therapy, active therapy, clinical supervision and trainings. Our approach integrates Evidence-Based practices with a strong emphasis on therapeutic relationship and individualized care. This means we show up as real people and invite you to do the same. We’ll bring genuine connection, practical support, some snacks and a little humor along the way.
At Sessions NY, we offer an integrative approach to mental health that includes talk therapy, movement therapy, and relational therapy each designed to support the whole person.
Talk Therapy provides a safe and supportive space for clients to explore emotions, patterns, and challenges. Through Evidence-Based practices, clients gain insight, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience. Whether addressing ADHD, anxiety, grief, or life transitions, talk therapy empowers individuals to reclaim a sense of agency and well-being.
Movement Therapy recognizes the deep connection between body and mind. This somatic approach helps clients process stress, trauma, and emotional blocks that are often held in the body. Through guided movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, clients learn to regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and reflect with new perspective.
Relational Therapy focuses on the power of connection both with others and within the therapeutic relationship. It helps clients examine relational patterns, build healthier communication, and strengthen emotional bonds.
